• About Me

Vipin Adhlakha is the founder and president of Aria Diagnostics Clinical Testing Lab, which specializes in complex laboratory testing for the medical industry. The company's range of services includes routine blood chemistry and hematology, as well as specialized molecular and urine toxicology. Testing.

Mr. Adhalakha was born and raised on the Southside of Chicago, where people of many different races and cultures lived. When he was in the middle of high school, he moved to Indiana with his family. This was a significant change in his life. Adhlakha became very interested in science and decided to study biology at Indiana University Bloomington, one of the best research universities in the United States.

Biology interested Vipin because it combines many other fields of study, like genetics, ecology, and microbiology. But it also has a lot of uses in the real world, like studying animals and plants and using their functions, processes, and habits to help people.

Vipin decided to focus on genomics, which is the study of the genetic sequences of organisms. This led to his current job as a clinical molecular diagnostician. This part of human biology looks at how molecular biology tests can be used to discover the human, viral, genetic, and coded parts of organic substances.

    Current Role & Responsibilities

Vipin Adhlakha decided to focus on molecular biology, which is a branch of biology that combines life science (from the molecular level to whole ecosystems) with engineering tasks like testing, analyzing, and applying. As a founding executive of Aria Diagnostics Clinical Testing Lab, Mr. Adhlakha runs the business daily. He helps set up the company so that all testing and diagnostics meet professional and government standards.

Aria is CAP-accredited, CLIA-certified, and ISO-compliant because Adhlakha and his partners worked hard to ensure patient safety and keep high-quality pathology and laboratory services. During the global COVID-19 pandemic, the company played a significant role by giving essential public information that put knowledge over fear. It became an accurate, affordable, same-day testing center for COVID-19 variants like Omicron and Delta.

    History in school

Vipin went to Indiana University Bloomington and got his Bachelor of Science in Biology, focusing on chemistry and Classical Studies in 1998. Vipin's Hoosier life was an epic adventure from the start. Here, he joined many clubs and groups and met many people who worked in his field.

After that, he went to Purdue University to get his Master's in Molecular Biology, which he did well and acquired in 2000. The Department of Biological Sciences at Purdue is the largest in Life Sciences. It is known for the research done by graduate students. Vipin Adhlakha's interests and biological research made him very interested in microbiology and how microbes make a big difference in everyday life, from climate change to food safety to understanding and preventing disease.

After getting his Master's degree, Adhlakha got his first job in the real world as an Application Engineer for the Genomic Products Division at Agilent Technologies.

    Charitable Participation

Vipin's parents taught him that helping others was an essential part of life. He was a trainer and counselor for three summers at a STEM camp for low-income high school kids. He is proud to have shared his interest and passion for biology with minority groups living in cities. He might not know about the many professional and exciting paths that studying science can lead.

Adhlakha was also on the board of directors for NetSAP DC, a group of Asian professionals who share personal and cultural interests through community events, book clubs, and regular networking get-togethers. Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) communities face problems never seen before, so he needs to check in with and help his peers.

Vipin Adhlakha also started an Indian biomedical professionals group with other people in the life science industries to give them a place to talk. The group not only keeps its members up to date on the latest trends in safe and effective healthcare technology, but it also works to support and encourage research and development efforts led by Indian professionals.

What have you done, and what you're interested in

Mr. Adhlakha gives a lot of thought to his health and well-being. He has run marathons and other races for as long as he has been an adult. Vipin started doing triathlons in 2012. A triathlon is a long-distance race that includes swimming, cycling, and running. Triathlons test how well an athlete can do cardio and require the right amount of muscle mass and mental strength. Triathlons are the best way to test your mental and physical fitness.

Adhlakha has also competed in several half Iron Man races, which require him to swim 1.2 miles (1.9K), bike 56 miles (90K), and run 13.1 miles (21.1K). Adhlakha carefully plans his diet and training to get the most out of his body to finish these races.
